Hilda Consuelo Zamora Maldonado, Ph.D. in Sustainability Sciences, is a postdoctoral researcher at the Competitive Intelligence and Public Policy for Sustainable Manufacturing Unit of Tecnológico de Monterrey. Her research centers on resilience within socio-ecological-technological systems as they relate to sustainability. She specializes in the development of dynamic models to analyze the interplay between natural resources, technology, economic growth, and sustainability.
Throughout her career, she has collaborated on various consulting and research projects funded by international organizations such as the Inter-American Development Bank and the World Bank, alongside Mexican institutions like UNAM and Tec de Monterrey. Since 2020, she has taught undergraduate courses at Tecnológico de Monterrey, with a focus on systems thinking and the development of numerical simulation models for policy analysis and decision-making. Her applied research has been instrumental in shaping public policies related to technological transitions and adoption. She has also published in international, peer-reviewed journals.
